The Ceremony of re-establishment of Rotary Club Bucharest Levant took place on November 10th at Hotel Novotel, Bucharest. Bucharest, November 11th 2009
RC Bucharest Levant, chartered in 2006, was in danger to be terminated for a few times. Despite the efforts of the parent club RC Bucharest Atheneum, to save it, the results were not as expected. The dream to save RC Bucharest Levant came true with the Ceremony of re-establishment of Rotary Club Bucharest Levant on November 10th at Hotel Novotel, Bucharest. 
The ceremony was leaded by Assistant Governor Anca Manea, empowered by the District Governor Daniel Condurache. The participants were the 19 members of Levant, from which 5 were old members. Rotarian friends from Rotary Clubs of Bucharest shared this moment with the Levant members and gave them the pins: Dorin Prunariu (President RC Bucharest), Meda Vasiliu (Secretary RC Bucharest), Dumitru Oros (Past President RC Bucharest Atheneum), Mihai Ionescu (Secretary RC Bucharest Atheneum), Bogdan Manea (President RC Bucharest Continental), Geta Gheorghe (President RC Bucharest Triumph), Florin Micu (Vice President RC Bucharest Triumph), Ion Stavre (President Elect RC Bucharest Triumph). The new rotarians understood what Rotary means; they watched the speech of John Kenny, the President of RI; they presented themselves and explained why they wanted to become Rotarians. The Ceremony of re-establishment of Rotary Club Bucharest Levant ended with a cocktail, where the new comers in Rotary shared experiences with the Rotarians from Bucharest.
